Eldon to be next Hongkong chairman

Aman Mehta will succeed Eldon as chief executive officer at HongkongBank. He was appointed a group general manager in 1991 and HongkongBank's executive director international in 1998. The Bermuda-based Old Mutual Group, the largest financial services group in South Africa, has appointed Eric Anstee as group finance director based in the UK. The position takes effect from November 1. Anstee was finance director of The Energy Group, which was recently acquired by Texas Utilities, and prior to that finance director of the Eastern Group, which includes Eastern Electricity.
