You will help shape and deliver complex digital transformation programmes for major insurers, life and pensions providers, wealth managers and financial-services organisations.

We are recruiting an experienced Insurance Architect to join the Insurance and Financial Services practice of a leading global consultancy.
You will help shape and deliver complex digital transformation programmes for major insurers, life and pensions providers, wealth managers and financial-services organisations.
The role
As an Insurance Architect, you will:
- Develop current-state and target-state architectures, transition plans and technology roadmaps.
- Produce solution designs, integration patterns, capability maps and architecture documentation.
- Work across applications, data, cloud, integration, AI and cyber security.
- Translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
- Support cloud migrations, platform transformations and digital change across areas such as underwriting and claims.
- Advise senior business and technology stakeholders on architecture and platform decisions.
- Contribute to proofs of concept, thought leadership and internal capability development.
- Collaborate with wider consulting, technology and delivery teams.
- At least five years' experience in technology-focused roles.
- Experience within insurance, financial services or another regulated industry.
- Knowledge of solution or technical architecture across applications, integration, data, cloud or security.
- Understanding of data modelling, governance, migration, integration and visualisation.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
- The ability to explain technical decisions clearly to both business and technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally.
