The Role
Department: EMNR
Location: Bristol
Working Arrangement: 4 days per week in the office
We are seeking a proactive and organised Practice Assistant / Workplace Services Coordinator to provide high-quality administrative support to Partners and fee earners, while also supporting the day-to-day operation of the Bristol office.
This role combines legal support and workplace services responsibilities, ensuring the smooth delivery of client service, business support activities, and office operations.

Key Responsibilities
Practice Assistant
- Provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to Partners and fee earners.
- Manage diaries, meetings, travel arrangements, and client communications.
- Produce, review, and format documents to a high standard.
- Support business development activities, including pitches, tenders, events, and CRM management.
- Maintain client and matter information, ensuring compliance with firm procedures.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
Workplace Services Coordinator
- Support the day-to-day operation of the Bristol office.
- Coordinate meeting rooms, catering, office supplies, and workplace facilities.
- Liaise with external suppliers, contractors, and building management.
- Support new joiner and leaver processes, including office access and workspace setup.
- Manage post, courier services, records management, and office communications.
- Ensure communal areas and client-facing spaces are maintained to a high standard.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a legal, professional services, or corporate environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Highly client-focused with a proactive approach.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
