We are recruiting, on behalf of our client, a leading global AIFM, a Valuation & Fund Administration Associate, to join their Luxembourg office. You will support the Conducting Officers and valuation team in overseeing investment valuations, fund financial reporting, and SPV administration across AIF structures. The position also plays a key role in audit coordination, governance documentation, and day-to-day fund operations, working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers. Key responsibilities: Valuation & Investment Oversight (core) Assist the CO and the broader US-based valuation team with quarterly valuation reviews for: New investments at Group level Existing portfolio companies (PTF) across Luxembourg and Group fund structures Coordinate and support the Group and the AIFM Valuation Committees’ processes: Draft valuation memos Prepare meeting packs Draft and finalise minutes c. Maintain and update investment inventory and tracking files Funds Financial Administration (core) Support quarterly funds’ financial statement sign-off processes Assist with AIFs’ annual external audits, including: Audit and AuP support and coordination Documentation management Assist the CO for the SPVs owned by the AIFs managed with: Arranging payments, including invoice checks and approvals Preparing and maintaining SPVs expense trackers Supporting SPVs capital calls and distributions Assist for both the funds and their underlying SPVs with quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements Governance and Administrative Support (ad hoc) Support the Conducting Officers by drafting and maintaining Board and Shareholders documentation, including: SPV Board meeting minutes AGM documentation b. Assist with SPV tax returns On an ad hoc basis, assist the Conducting Officers with AIFM monthly payments, including invoice checks and approvals Handle any other investment-related ad-hoc requests Oversee opening, scanning, and filing of physical mail Help the team maintain structured electronic and physical filing systems Act as a coordination point with external service providers
Profil recherchéBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 3–5 years of relevant experience in alternative investment fund administration, private markets (PE, private debt, real assets), audit, or valuation/transaction services Strong knowledge of fund accounting, financial reporting, and valuation principles (including private markets/IPEV) Experience with AIFs, SPVs, and related structures; familiarity with auditors, tax advisors, and fund administrators Advanced Excel skills; exposure to Luxembourg/EU fund environments is a plus Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strong written communication skills and ability to work independently with sound judgment and discretion Application process: As an equal opportunity employer, we embrace diversity and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
