Our client a Fashion retail Group based in Dublin 12 are currently looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team



Reporting to the Managing Director this role will be responsible for the following on a monthly basis:

• Bank control account preparation and reconciliations


• Debtors control
  
  
  
  
  • Billing
  
  
  • Reconciliations
  
  
  • Debt Collection
  
  


• Creditors
  
  
  
  • Matching invoices to PO's
  
  
  • Inputting onto System
  
  
  • Creditor reconciliations
  
  
  • Payments
  
  


• An understanding of foreign exchange and forward contracts;


• Nominal ledger postings and accuracy;


• Reconciliation of sales reports to lodgments


• Payroll processing using Brightpay Payroll;


• A full understanding of ROS including the accurate filing of PAYE and VAT returns;

Applicants must have an excellent understanding of Xero and Dext accounting packages and integration of these systems. They should also have very good communication skills to deal with management, staff, customers and suppliers. They are also expected to have experience of dealing with the requirements of our external accountant during the year when required and also at end of the financial year.



This role will mbe based in Dublin 12 on site.
