This program is focused on modernising critical business platforms supporting policy, claims and billing capabilities while improving data quality, customer outcomes and enterprise-wide operational effectiveness.As part of this transformation, an experienced Senior Solution Architect is required to provide architecture leadership across data transformation, migration and solution design initiatives that will shape the future-state technology landscape.
Your new role This is a highly hands-on Solution Architect opportunity focused on data transformation and migration within a large-scale enterprise program. Working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams and technical specialists, you will design and guide the implementation of data solutions that support major platform modernisation initiatives. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise across data migration, master data management, information architecture and complex data ecosystems. This is not a traditional enterprise or governance-focused architecture role. Instead, you will play a key role in driving practical architecture outcomes that enable successful transformation delivery.Key responsibilities include:
- Designing end-to-end data solutions to support large-scale transformation initiatives
- Defining target-state and transition-state data architectures and data flows
- Developing and overseeing data migration strategies, patterns and implementation approaches
- Supporting end-to-end solution design with a strong focus on data transformation outcomes
- Assessing the impact of master and reference data changes across systems and business processes
- Identifying data impacts across policy, claims, billing and supporting business services
- Supporting data modelling and information architecture activities
- Providing architecture guidance throughout migration and transformation delivery phases
- Supporting data governance, architecture assurance and data quality activities
- Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to support data-related architecture decisions
- Producing architecture artefacts, roadmaps and transition-state designs to support successful program outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect within large-scale transformation programs
- Strong expertise in data transformation, migration architecture and modernisation initiatives
- Deep understanding of master data management, reference data management and information architecture
- Experience designing target-state and transition-state data architectures and data flows
- Proven experience delivering large-scale data migration programs across complex enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of integrated application and data ecosystems
- Experience working within cloud-based and modern technology environments
- The ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively across both business and technical audiences
- Experience supporting architecture decisions from strategy through to delivery
- Financial services, insurance or banking industry experience
- Experience working across policy administration, claims or billing platforms
- Previous involvement in large-scale platform replacement, modernisation or transformation programs
- Initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension
- Competitive daily rates from $1,200 to $1,450 per day inclusive of super
