Perella seeks juniors for his banking boutique

Joseph Perella and his partners are busy trying to hire 25-30 junior bankers for his new investment banking boutique

The Financial Times reports the new hires will be expected to do much of the execution work on deals, although Perella and Co. appear to be having some trouble luring them away from big firms.

The juniors are expected to play a valuable role. "If we originate a deal and mess up the execution, our reputation will be ruined," one banker told the FT. Joseph Perella's new investment banking boutique is likely to be launched in the next few weeks.
