BNP Paribas Securities Reportedly Hiring U.S. Staff
BNP Paribas Securities reportedly plans to hire three sales people for its exchange-traded funds and listed options trading platform.
"Our goal right now is to establish a full service equity derivatives business and ETF products are a key component of that," Todd Steinberg, head of equities and derivatives for the Americas, told The Wall Street Letter.
David Abner, managing director of ETF Trading, and Dan Bystrom, managing director of ETF options trading, are overseeing the hiring of sales and trading support staffs as they build up the business, the Letter said. Currently, the brokerage has three traders and five salespeople supporting the month-old U.S. platform.
