Position Information

Position Responsibilities
The Junior Credit Analyst role is an integral part of the Credit Monitoring Team. This role will assist in certain areas of investment management, including but not limited to, the following:
- Assisting in monitoring and analyzing a diverse portfolio of debt and equity investments
- Communicating with deal professionals to obtain knowledge of our borrowers' businesses and operating performance
- Tracking pending transactions and amendments to credit agreements
- Preparing files for independent valuation firms, including financial statements, due diligence materials and legal documents
- Reviewing monthly valuations prepared by independent valuation firms
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related discipline with a GPA of 3.2 or higher required
- Financial or accounting exposure through campus activities, internships or prior work experience, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly MS Excel and Word
- Comprehension and understanding of financial statements, specifically income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
- Prior credit or investment analytical experience a plus
- Ability to prioritize and work independently with limited supervision
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, meticulous and accurate
- Highly motivated, hardworking and driven
