Job Description
As a leader in digital payments, Visa focuses on enabling global money movement, growing consumer payments, advancing new payment flows, and offering value added services to our clients. The Global Marketing Operations AI and Technology team plays an important role in supporting these initiatives through marketing channel strategy, tools/technology, and operational execution. The Marketing Operations Project Manager is a key member of this team who will empower our global and regional marketers in driving brand awareness, product demand and client engagement around Visa's B2B products and solutions.
This role will help project manage incoming requests using our project management platform Wrike. Based on the request type, they will traffic the project be connecting with marketers on missing requirements, documenting, and assigning to members at our agency partner. The candidate should be passionate about talking with Marketing, Sales, and product owners on their projects, due dates, and communicating SLA's. The candidate would possess strong project management skills, verbal and writing communication and collaborate with Global and Regional Marketing, Product Marketing, Marketing Analytics, external agencies, and IT partners.
The position is for an individual contributor and will report to the Senior Director on the Global Marketing Operations AI and Technology team.
Key Responsibilities:
This role is a Hybrid position to be located in our San Francisco, CA office location. Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end management of global B2B marketing programs (webinars, email campaigns, lead generation tools) and strategic initiatives utilizing Wrike, Eloqua, ON24.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status reviews, executive updates, and post-mortem assessments.
- Ensure consistent project management methodologies and governance practices are followed.
- Streamline workflows, approvals, and operational processes to increase team efficiency.
- Support planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, events, digital programs, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Serve as the primary liaison between marketing leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Build strong relationships with regional and global stakeholders.
- Drive alignment across teams with differing priorities and requirements.
- Facilitate decision-making and issue resolution through effective communication.
- Develop and maintain our Wrike project management platform to optimize the workflow and develop custom reporting dashboards for senior leadership and end users.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate/escalate project risks.
- Manage changes in project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Drive organizational adoption of new processes and tools.
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources across projects and programs.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- 7+ years of project or program management experience.
- 5+ years supporting Marketing Operations, B2B Marketing, Demand Generation, or Go-to-Market functions.
- Experience managing global, cross-functional initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with executive stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Experience in enterprise technology, SaaS, or large-scale B2B organizations.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Experience managing global campaign operations and marketing processes.
- Experience creating documentation and performing training to rollout out new tools or functionality.
- Systems/process-oriented thinker who loves to organize people and streamline operations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple, complex projects in a fast-paced, global environment; effective at influencing others to achieve goals and outcomes.
