Our client is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join its tax compliance and reporting team in New York, NY. This position will support a range of tax functions across multiple fund entities, including partnerships, corporations, and offshore structures. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in tax compliance within investment management, hedge funds, or public accounting, along with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support tax compliance and reporting for multiple fund entities, including partnerships, corporations, and offshore structures
- Coordinate preparation and timely filing of federal, state, local, international, and indirect tax filings with external tax advisors
- Review investor tax reporting, including Schedule K-1s, PFIC reporting, FATCA/CRS compliance, and related reporting requirements
- Review tax documentation and information reporting forms, including W-8s, W-9s, 1099s, FATCA/CRS self-certifications, and GIIN registrations

Qualifications:
- 3–6+ years of tax-compliance experience within investment management, a hedge fund or Big Four/national public accounting
- Experience with partnership taxation, investment funds, K-1s, PFIC reporting, FATCA/CRS, Forms W-8/W-9/1099, 1042/1042-S withholding and multi-jurisdictional filings
