Description
The Operations Strategist is responsible for creating and implementing operational performance improvements in the business unit by identifying innovative development objectives related to strategy, initiatives, processes, workflows, and technologies. The Operations Strategist maintains exceptional brand quality and reputation through operational excellence of exceeding quality goals, standards, and employee and customer expectations.
- Develop and implement operations strategy and objectives to meet performance improvement and business goals.
- Develop and implement operations initiatives to achieve operations strategy, business strategy, and business goals.
- Review and ensure quality and compliance requirements based on industry and business needs in operational processes.
- Ensure efficiency in operational processes and technologies.
- Ensure process alignment with brand stakeholder (shareholder, client, partners, vendors, employees) needs.
- Responsible for communicating operational processes in accordance with best practices in change management and communication channels.
- Responsible for interpreting policies, purposes, and goals of the business unit.
- Responsible for procuring resources required to support operational processes and initiatives.
- Analyze reports, budgets, and accounts to identify overspending and misallocated charges.
- Responsible for reconciling internal expenditures properly and providing solutions to minimize costs.
- Responsible for reviewing calendars and schedules to ensure workflows and compliance with workflows and optimization of daily activities.
- Work with corporate business partners and external vendors to create operational solutions and meet brand stakeholder requirements.
- Work with corporate leaders to adopt and implement corporate and business unit initiatives.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration of cross-functional teams.
- Participate in corporate advisory teams and collaborate with other operations roles in business units across the organization.
- Facilitates the dissemination of information to the department, project teams, and organization as part of the overall communications and department management process.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating key meetings as requested by project reams to support compliance with corporate processes.
- Monitor department deadlines and benchmarks and support communication of monthly status reports to leaders within the organization.
- Assist with planning, coordination, and facilitation of on-site and off-site meetings for the department. This may include annual coordination workshop, stakeholder meetings, management meetings, periodic reviews, etc.
- Prepare a variety of communication including emails, meeting invitations, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes.
- Responsible for handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years relevant professional experience required.
- Or, associate's degree and 6 years relevant professional experience.
- Or, 8 years relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, demonstrating accuracy, reliability, organization, and problem-solving skills required.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels within an organization.
