We are seeking an engineering leader to oversee the design, development, and delivery of manufactured devices for defense, aerospace, and industrial customers.

Core responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full engineering organization (staffing, development, performance)
• Drive product development aligned to customer specs, budgets, and regulatory standards
• Serve as liaison across all levels - from frontline engineers to executive leadership
• Oversee internally funded R&D projects and support proposal preparation
• Present technical content to customers and management
• Enforce and advance AS9100 compliance and Lean/5S manufacturing principles
• Formulate engineering policies to improve competitiveness and profitability

Must-haves:

• BS in Engineering (MS preferred)
• 5+ years in engineering or project management leadership
• Knowledge of power/energy storage battery systems
• DoD application experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with hazardous chemicals, robotics, and explosive materials a plus
• U.S. Person requirement
