About the role:
Reports to Senior Manager, Financial Controller
Responsible for financial control and reporting for Aztec Group Ireland, ensuring that the underlying Financial Operations are run in an accurate, timely, efficient and cost-effective manner. The provision of timely and accurate financial and management information in accordance with statutory and regulatory frameworks.

About the role:
Reports to Senior Manager, Financial Controller
Responsible for financial control and reporting for Aztec Group Ireland, ensuring that the underlying Financial Operations are run in an accurate, timely, efficient and cost-effective manner. The provision of timely and accurate financial and management information in accordance with statutory and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts in agreed format and in accordance with Local & Group timetables including both financial, non-financial and KPI data as required.
- Preparation and delivery of Liquidity reporting as required.
- Co-ordinate the financial accounting activities to ensure that the accounting records underpin the monthly management accounts prepared and are carried out in accordance with Local & Group accounting procedures including the reconciliation and control environment.
- Provide proactive support to the local boards and management teams.
- Ensure that appropriate Financial Controls are embedded and documented in the operating procedures of the Finance team and incorporate the Group Minimum Financial Controls and intercompany reconciliation.
- Preparation of the indirect and direct Tax submissions & returns for the businesses in-conjunction with the appointed Tax Agents
- Support the Group Financial Accountant with the year-end financial statement close process and preparation of statutory accounts ensuring group and local reporting deadlines are met.
- Support the Group Financial Accountant in the engagement with local auditors and management of the annual audit process.
- Engagement with the FP&A team on annual budgets & forecast as required to ensure delivery to Group & Local timetables.
- Support the wider Finance teams as required.
- Work with the Senior Financial Controller on projects as required
Skills, knowledge, expertise :
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) preferably within an internal finance function experience
- Commercial/Financial Services accounting knowledge
- IFRS & Lux GAAP knowledge
- An understanding of GST and Corporate tax would be an advantage
- An understanding of the Financial Services regulatory environment would be an advantage
- Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills are essential
- Good interpersonal skills
- Data analysis Skills
