The successful candidate will contribute to live mandates from day one, assuming substantial transaction responsibilities including valuation modeling, client communications, and deal execution with direct exposure to senior stakeholders.

Agora Gaming Partners is a specialized M&A advisory firm focused on studio acquisitions, intellectual property transactions, and publishing deals within the gaming sector. Since inception two years ago, the firm has advised on over $225 million in M&A, restructuring, and publishing transactions. The firm also operates a project financing fund with Pix Capital, deploying capital from $1 million to $10-30 million through special purpose vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Build comprehensive financial models, valuations, and scenario analyses including DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis, IP valuation, and earn-out structures
- Prepare information memoranda, teasers, and pitch materials for client presentations
- Execute transactions and direct individual workstreams independently
- Coordinate due diligence workflows and manage virtual data rooms
- Support negotiations on purchase agreements, including price mechanics, earn-out provisions, and warranty structures
- Conduct market research on studios, franchises, and platform trends
- Represent the firm at industry conferences and client meetings internationally
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong financial modeling capabilities and prior M&A experience. An interest in arts, culture, or ideally video games is essential. The role requires the ability to operate independently, maintain industry relationships, and manage complex workstreams with limited oversight.
Work Arrangement & Compensation
This is a fully remote position with frequent international travel required. Baseline compensation is competitive, with performance bonuses paid upon deal completion. The firm prioritizes sustainable work practices, never requiring more than 60 hours per week, and actively encourages regular holidays.
