Job summary
The role is to assist the Chief of Staff in conducting various transversal missions on behalf of the Crédit Agricole CIB London Deputy Senior Country Officer (DSCO). The intern will work across a range of strategic projects and governance initiatives involving the London Branch, European entities, and Paris head office teams.

Job summary

The intern will work across a range of strategic projects and governance initiatives involving the London Branch, European entities, and Paris head office teams.
Key Responsibilities
The intern will receive direct guidance from the Chief of Staff (COS) and will contribute to the following:
- Supporting the COS in managing transversal projects within the London Branch and, where relevant, across European entities in coordination with Country COOs and Paris head office teams.
- Taking ownership of specific workstreams or projects under the supervision of the COS.
- Assisting in the follow-up of action plans identified during project analysis phases and facilitating their implementation across relevant departments.
- Supporting the COS in the coordination and follow-up of digital initiatives within the Branch, working with relevant departments to assist in their implementation and promotion.
- Coordinating process optimisation and streamlining projects across the Branch, with a view to simplifying existing workflows and improving operational efficiency.
- Contributing to the preparation of presentations, briefing notes, and materials for project committees and Branch events.
- Supporting the preparation and coordination of various governance committees, including minutes taking.
- Assisting the COS in responding to ad hoc requests from UK regulators (FCA/PRA), including the preparation and coordination of relevant documentation and information across departments.
- Supporting the review and adaptation of the Branch's Outsourcing monitoring frameworks in line with Compliance guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinating transformation initiatives to optimise or streamline transversal processes in the Branch.
- Conducting analysis of processes and workflows and producing structured reports and recommendations, including on ad hoc missions (post-mortems, investigations).
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
Start Date: November 2026.

- Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Management, or a related field.
Experience
Experience in banking environment desirable (audit, Finance, operations or IT).

- Clear and professional communication in English, both written and verbal.
- Rigour and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Capacity to work autonomously and take initiative.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and functions.
- Adaptability and ability to integrate new information quickly.
Technical skills required
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with Power BI and VBA is an advantage.
Languages
French language skills are an advantage given regular interaction with Paris-based teams.
