You will play a vital role in supporting the Cybersecurity Technical Awareness Manager in delivering the Cybersecurity Technical Awareness strategy. You will have the opportunity to get hands on experience in influencing behavioural change and making a difference. With responsibilities including the creation of engaging technical learning content, managing our key communications channels, delivering phishing drills, as well as data analysis and reporting on key cybersecurity behavioural metrics.

Your role

As a Cybersecurity Technical Awareness Assistant Manager, you will:
  • Support the Cybersecurity Technical Awareness Manager
  • Create and deliver technical cyber awareness content to specific audiences
  • Support in the delivery, reporting and remediation actions of phishing drills
  • Create and deliver ongoing cyber awareness campaigns and materials
  • Design, source, collate and analyse relevant metrics
  • Support the management of the UK cyber champions' network
  • Maintain and develop Cybersecurity intranet sites and other key communication channels
  • Create and maintain all relevant process documentation & records
  • Provide support to the CISO Office, Executive Governance and Strategy teams
  • Assist in tracking organisational compliance against our security policies & standards

Essential
  • Strong communication skills with diverse audiences - Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of good security practices, risks and best practices.
  • Have demonstrable experience in proactively taking responsibility and owning, following up and resolving issues in such a way that positively impacts team delivery.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical audience.
  • Demonstrable ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment with changing priorities and multiple deliverables.

Desirable
  • Relevant experience in communications or learning and development role
  • Knowledge and understanding of security metrics and reporting requirements
  • Knowledge of risk management methodologies and risk analysis
  • Understanding of security policy frameworks, security standards, methodologies and control implementation e.g. ISO 27001, NIST
  • Marketing/Business/Psychology/Information Security/IT degree or equivalent
  • An Information Security qualification or equivalent desirable (ITIL/CISMP/SSAP)

Technology and digital services

From architecture and delivery of new IT systems to IT risk and security, we manage the relationships between the business and our Technology and Digital Services teams. We also help with the delivery of day-to-day operational technology and digital support to the rest of the business.

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
