About the Role

We are seeking a client-facing Technology Business Consultant, Professional Services II, to support the delivery of reconciliation and transaction matching solution implementations for financial institutions in the UAE, GCC, and broader Middle East region.

This role requires a consultant who can operate confidently with banking and financial services clients, facilitate workshops in Arabic and English, understand complex reconciliation processes, and support the end-to-end implementation of enterprise reconciliation solutions. The consultant will work closely with client business, operations, finance, and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, design target-state reconciliation processes, configure solutions, support testing, and assist with production deployment and post-go-live adoption.

Success in this role will be measured through successful project delivery, strong client satisfaction, effective solution adoption, and measurable improvements in reconciliation efficiency, exception management, operational control, and financial risk reduction.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead and support implementation activities for enterprise reconciliation and transaction matching solutions.
• Conduct business process reviews and document current-state and target-state reconciliation operating models.
• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business, operational, functional, and technical requirements.
• Configure reconciliation workflows, matching rules, exception management processes, dashboards, and reporting capabilities.
• Work with client stakeholders to define reconciliation use cases across cash, account, GL, payment, card, ATM, treasury, settlement, and intercompany reconciliation processes.
• Support integration of reconciliation platforms with banking, payments, treasury, ERP, accounting, and financial systems.
• Analyze data flows, file formats, source systems, matching logic, break categories, and exception resolution processes.
• Facilitate client workshops, solution design sessions, testing activities, UAT planning, training, and knowledge transfer sessions in Arabic and English.
• Support SIT, UAT, production readiness, go-live, and post-production hypercare activities.
• Advise clients on reconciliation best practices, operational controls, exception reduction, and financial risk mitigation.
• Build trusted client relationships with business, operations, finance, technology, and senior stakeholder groups.
• Work effectively within UAE, GCC, and Middle East client environments, respecting local business etiquette, relationship-driven engagement models, and cultural expectations.

Must Have Skills and Experience

• Native, fluent, or business-fluent Arabic communication skills are mandatory.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to conduct requirements workshops, solution walkthroughs, training sessions, and stakeholder discussions in Arabic and English.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or supporting reconciliation and transaction matching solutions.
• Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise reconciliation platform such as FIS IntelliMatch, SmartStream TLM, Duco, BlackLine, Gresham, Trintech, Oracle Reconciliation, or a similar reconciliation and transaction matching tool.
• Proven end-to-end software implementation experience covering requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, integration support, SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Experience delivering projects for banks, financial institutions, payment service providers, fintech organizations, treasury functions, or finance operations teams.
• Strong understanding of reconciliation operations, including transaction matching, exception management, cash reconciliation, GL reconciliation, account reconciliation, settlement reconciliation, and operational controls.
• Practical understanding of banking operations, payments, treasury operations, financial accounting workflows, settlement processes, and financial control environments.
• Strong business analysis skills, including process mapping, requirement documentation, gap analysis, solution fitment, and issue investigation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into configurable solution designs and implementation work products.
• Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, problem-solving, and client communication skills.
• Experience working with UAE, GCC, or broader Middle East clients.
• Conversant with local UAE and Middle East business culture, stakeholder engagement practices, and relationship-driven client management.
• Ability and willingness to travel across the UAE, GCC, and Middle East region as required for client delivery.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with FIS IntelliMatch or other FIS reconciliation and financial control solutions.
• Experience delivering reconciliation transformation, automation, or operational control improvement programs.
• Knowledge of Nostro, Vostro, cash, GL, card, ATM, payment, treasury, liquidity, securities, and intercompany reconciliation processes.
• Knowledge of SWIFT MT and MX messages, ISO 20022, payment processing, treasury management, liquidity operations, or capital markets workflows.
• Experience with SQL, database querying, data analysis, data mapping, and source-to-target mapping.
• Experience working with file-based and API-based integrations, including CSV, XML, fixed-width files, and banking message formats.
• Ability to investigate reconciliation breaks, analyze root causes, and propose process or configuration improvements.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methods, waterfall implementation approaches, and enterprise software delivery frameworks.
• Experience preparing functional specifications, configuration documents, test scenarios, UAT scripts, training materials, and go-live readiness documentation.
• Industry certifications in business analysis, project management, financial services, accounting, or reconciliation solutions.
