Brief: - Reporting to the Medical Director/General Manager, you will be responsible for providing and maintaining a high standard of professional business ethics. The Operations officer typically ensures smooth operations of various work processes that contribute to providing services to Capital Health Screening Centre’s (CHSC) guests. Oversee and manage branches from a central role - The Operations officer works with the management team and also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission – specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the shared and outsourced services through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
  • Drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
  • Ensure all KPIs that are set by shared and outsourced services are achieved at the stipulated and agreed time frame.
  • Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team
  • Oversee and manage branches.
  • Provide day to day support for all aspects of the Centre infrastructure
  • Be involved in setting short and long-term goals for the Centre
  • Liaise with the department manager to organize and implement quality assurance programs of all the departments, ensuring monitoring and improvement in guest care at CHSC
  • Ensure compliance of CHSC’s shared and outsourced  employees with applicable policies related to guests rights, ethical codes and attends to, in conjunction with the clinic manager, guest and/or family complaints
  • Ensure that adequate staff coverage is provided for all services in coordination with concerned departments
  • Communicate with the relevant heads of department in shared and outsourced services
  • Delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members
  • Adhere to all related CHSC’s policies and procedures
  • To participate and attends management meetings
  • Ensure health and safety measures are in place, in order to maintain a safe environment for guests, families, visitors and employees
  • Acts as a mediator between CHSC’s team and Outsourced Services and maintains absolute professionalism when dealing with sensitive matters.
  • Participate in HAAD inspections
  • Work closely with the General Manager / Finance Team in order to facilitate profit margins
  • Takes part in the induction of all new staff.
  • Involved in the Performance Management Process for direct reports.
  • Liaise with other departments as required.
  • Maintain confidentially and objectivity in accordance with the ethics of the profession.
