Senior Technical Business Analyst -Platform

The MasterCard Commercial Solutions team is engaged in working with new and innovative technologies to build business solutions that keep MasterCard positioned as a leader in providing valued solutions to corporate card holders around the world. We are currently looking for a candidate to meet the following requirements:

Job Overview: This is not a people manager role. It is an individual contributor role. Provide ongoing technical expertise and support to the development life cycles of MasterCard products and ancillary applications. Close partnership with Business Analysis and the technology teams to ensure that business and functional requirements are aligned appropriately with MasterCard Technologies.

Major Responsibilities:
• Provide assessment, directional guidance for business/development requests and estimates for the intake efforts
• Determine development impacts to current platform with requestors and developers to ensure enhancement requests are clearly defined
• Work with Development, Testing, and Business Operations partners to drive out high-level product solutions or cross application/system enhancements for consideration and prioritization
• Facilitate JAD sessions
• Act as liaison between the business and technical teams for larger, cross-functional efforts
• Lead technical requirements review sessions
• Work with the Strategic Program Management (SPM) team to leverage, implement, and maintain "best practices" within the overall organization
• Involvement with SAFE and the day-to-day processes required to keep Agile release trains running
• Act as the SME within SPM for their assigned Commercial program
• Provide general analyst support as needed

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.

Knowledge / Experience:
• Advanced technical knowledge and capability
• Strong demonstration of MC Core Competencies
• Experience within the payment space preferred

Skills/ Abilities:
• High-energy, detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment.
• High degree of initiative and self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong relationship, collaborative and organization skills.
• Ability to lead more complex projects and serve as mentor to other team members.
