Digital Finance Description
Digital Finance, a business unit within CCBD, is comprised of the firm's digitally-led consumer businesses, which include the Marcus deposits and lending businesses, as well as the personal financial management app, Clarity Money. Digital Finance combines the strength and heritage of a 148-year-old financial institution with the agility and entrepreneurial spirit of a tech start-up. Through the use of machine learning and intuitive design, we provide customers with powerful tools that are grounded in value, transparency and simplicity to help them make smarter decisions about their money.

Responsibilities:

Managing suppliers involves the deliberate balancing of risk, performance, relationship and cost management activities. As a member of the Supplier Management team, you will work closely with the Supplier Manager to support our external suppliers who provide goods and services that support Digital Finance. This role plays an important role for the business, working closely with management, third party suppliers, cross-functional teams, and other firmwide stakeholders (Technology, VROs, etc.).

  • Work closely with Supplier Management leadership team and assist with third party management tasks and oversight
  • Liaise with procurement, supplier, and management to resolve site supplier issues and identify trends to assure third party management compliance
  • Perform reconciliation for proper invoice review and payment
  • Act as a resource/SME to the supplier management systems
  • Conduct system testing and IT support
  • Gather key metrics for presentations to management team, including supplier related concerns and issues, noted trends and compliance concerns
  • Support the preparation of ad hoc analysis that enables strong understanding of the business
  • Apply best judgment and demonstrate comfort with ambiguous requests


RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, meticulous attention to detail
  • Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal partners with differing levels of product experience
  • Critical thinking and ability to work with deadlines
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in: Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or equivalent military experience
  • Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Hadoop
  • Previous experience in supply chain management/vendor management
  • Previous experience in banking/financial services
