RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, UT. Serve as a member of the Strategic Projects team in PWM Operations focused on reengineering the PWM operational platform. By partnering closely with key stakeholders across the firm, this team ensures that PWM has the appropriate infrastructure with respect to technology, processes and controls to support complex financial transactions to meet our client's needs as well as internal control standards and external regulatory requirements. Our main focus is to ensure that we are building best in class, scalable solutions that reduce risk and streamline processes. Responsibilities include: Automate document customization. Collaborate with industry experts across Operations, Technology, PWM Business, Compliance, and Legal to develop best in class solutions. Implement new vendor document generation software product such as Intelledox to improve efficiency and enhance the client experience. Draft comprehensive business requirements documents and complex testing specifications. Guide team members in creating the document management framework. Pro-actively identify opportunities for process improvements and develop methods to reduce risks, enhance controls, and increase customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with new regulations such as FATCA, CRS, & MiFID II.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Business Management, Finance or a related analytical field. 2.5 years of experience in the job offered or related operations position in investment banking. Must have 2.5 years of experience with: Understanding of wealth management operational structure and defining business and functional requirements to enhance infrastructure; Mapping, querying, and joining attributes stored in various client and account relational databases; Designing and interpreting Business Process Modeling (BPM) and Business Data Modeling (BDM) utilizing Signavio and other BPM tools; Demonstrating understanding of regulations such as FATCA, CRS, & MiFID II by implementing regulatory mandates; Creating, testing, and releasing process controls to comply with regulatory requirements pertaining to FATCA and Common Reporting Standard (CRS); Constructing automated workflows and digital forms utilizing MS SharePoint and InfoPath applications; and analyzing large datasets and summarizing information for decision making. Must have one (1) year of experience with: Developing dynamic documents and adaptive interview GUIs utilizing Intelledox Infiniti document generation software; and Establishing document management framework and integrating third party vendor solution with internal infrastructure.
