Operations Specialist with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, UT.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Operations Specialist with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, UT. Function on the Client Reporting Team, which is responsible for the facilitation of efficient and timely delivery of accurate and substantive custom reports to clients about their portfolios. Responsibilities include: Liaise with the various Business and Operation teams in order to design, create, collate, and produce custom reporting that meets client's regulatory, risk, performance, and analytic needs. Consolidate and prepare standard and custom client reports that cater to U.S. Corporate, Sub-Advised, Publics, and Financial Institution clients. Maintain large set of custom reports across numerous clients through daily reconciliation of deliverables by multi-tasking current reports and future client commitments. Participate in client implementation discussions to identify clients' reporting requirements and facilitate the design and custom reporting that meet client specifications. Partner directly with key stakeholders across Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) Business and Operations in scheduling and collating/producing the reporting requirements and ensuring accurate and timely delivery. Identify and resolve issues related to reporting by working with product teams, Technology, Client Relationship Management, and Operations. Respond to client queries and act as a central point of contact to ensure clients' requests are addressed and provide issue resolution. Understand and identify potential risks in the reporting process and implement adequate controls to mitigate risk through business process designs while maintaining a high level of efficiency. Execute, drive and deliver projects which span multiple stakeholders across business areas with limited resources and competing deadlines, including regulatory related items. Apply business process reengineering methodologies and use advanced business intelligence tools to execute tactical and strategic solutions for sophisticated and complex custom client reporting.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, Compliance or a related field. Will accept 3 or 4 year degree. 2.5 years of experience in the job offered or related financial services position. Prior work experience must include 2.5 years: Applying advanced Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills in order to create and produce complex customized reporting templates that translates raw system data into final client reports; Risk management experience in order to proactively escalate and manage client reporting data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and meeting competing reporting deadlines; Applying client service skills in order to serve as central point of contact for issue resolution and meeting client's reporting demands in a timely fashion; Project management experience to drive strategic business initiatives and evaluate processes to enhance and improve client reporting operational flow.
