Provide non-personal professional services for an Army Command client to assist with planning and coordinating the activities of a team conducting a protection program for higher headquarters assessments at Army installations. Conduct pre-assessment work, including data gathering, research, and coordination and execute and assist with documenting and reporting the findings of installation assessments as part of a team. Use various automated tools, databases, and other software programs to support assessment activities, prepare observations and recommendations for installation leadership and staff, assist the team lead to prepare briefing materials, and collaborate with active duty and civil service government staff and counterparts across Army organizations and other government agencies if required. Perform work in program areas, including threat actor options, physical security, structural and infrastructure engineering, emergency management, and information operations with an emphasis on physical security. Work extended hours, outdoors, sometimes in austere conditions with travel up to 25% of the time required.
-5+ years of experience with anti-threats, law enforcement, physical security, or similar fields in DoD organizations
-Experience with applying DoD risk management concepts in a mission assurance assessment environment
-Ability to demonstrate leadership and initiative and work without full-time direct supervision
-HS diploma or GED
-Anti-threat Officer training
-Completion of US Army Physical Security training
-Experience with physical security program management for a DoD organization
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills before groups of senior ranking persons
-Completion of additional training, including DoD MTT, DoD Security Engineering Course, or IT security training or certification
