Risk Management Analyst Job Location US-TX-Richardson ID 2020-4840 Location: Address 2221 Lakeside Boulevard Category Correspondent Lending Overview

The Candidate will act as the central point of contact, working with Correspondent sales to manage the counter-party risk associated with Correspondent Lending clients. Responsibilities will include document gathering, insurance monitoring, treasury account verifications as well as assisting the analysts with other duties that support the Correspondent Lending sellers. The candidate must be highly organized, detail oriented, possess strong interpersonal skills, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize activities, think analytically, and be able to work well in a team environment

    • Accurately gather, track, and examine documentation to ensure all seller files have been properly saved into bank’s imaging system
    • Provide sellers with monthly scorecard distribution
    • Work with analysts and sellers on annual insurance monitoring to ensure proper compliance with TCB policies
    • Assist analyst in responding quickly to heavy email volumes and phone inquiries from multiple sources
    • Learn the functions and processes associated with the seller’s application, approval, and renewal job task
    • Review business Financials Statements for adherence to established guidelines
    • Pull established monthly reports and distribute to proper parties
    • Work with internal partners, as well as external clients to provide problem resolution, as well as superior service
    • Support field-based Regional Sales Executives as needed
    • Partner with Performance Management analyst in various scorecard related duties
    • Assist in the verification of treasury accounts for wire funding of loans
    • Work closely with RMG analysts to assist sellers as needed
    • Additional responsibilities as required
  • 1 -3 years related work experience in mortgage, banking, financial services, or client management with a focus on any of the following: risk, underwriting, QA/QC, Compliance, audit, or similar discipline
  • Will consider a recent college graduate with no mortgage experience if the following criteria are met:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is preferred
  • Counterparty and/or Risk Management experience is ideal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to effectively communicate via phone and email; ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff
  • Extremely well organized, very detail-oriented, and ability to manage heavy workload
  • Must possess a high degree of analytical, reasoning, and decision-making proficiencies
  • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze a variety of documents provided by the seller
  • General accounting knowledge of a company’s balance sheet and income statement
  • Ability to work independently, while handling multiple tasks in varying stages of completion
  • Must be able to cope with interruptions and shift workload priorities quickly as required
  • General knowledge of entity documents and structure for Corporations, LLC’s, Partnerships and Trusts
  • Commercial insurance policy knowledge helpful
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook experience preferred
