Principal Consultant, Loan IQ Plano/en-US/DHC/job/Plano/Principal-Consultant--Loan-IQ_REQ0820_0016458/apply

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Your deliverables as Loan IQ Consultant will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Meeting with clients to determine requirements
  • Working with clients to define the scope of a project
  • Planning timescales and the resources needed
  • Clarifying a client's system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business
  • Liaising with staff at all levels of a client organization
  • Defining software requirements
  • Analyzing business requirements
  • Develop technical/functional specifications, business/solution requirement documents
  • Developing agreed solutions and implementing Finastra products and solutions
  • Assisting customers with change-management activities
  • Designing, configuring, testing and monitoring our solutions on customer projects
  • Preparing documentation and presenting progress reports to customers
  • Organizing and/or providing training for users and other consultants
  • Being involved in sales and support, as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience) in information technology, information systems, computer science or engineering, mathematics or physics, or a related quantitative field with an information technology component (foreign equivalent degree acceptable) plus 5 years of experience in software design, development and/or architecture are strongly desired
  • 5 years experience with Loan IQ, including installation/upgrade/implementation experience
  • Experience on Loan IQ version 7.3 & above preferred
  • Experience preparing/reviewing project technical design documents; participating in solution review sessions; reviewing application framework issues
  • Demonstrated knowledge of: Loan IQ Data Model; Loan IQ batch administration, configuration, and troubleshooting; Loan IQ interfaces, Data Conversion and SDK features; base code table configuration.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Work within a team environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Previous banking and lending experience is strongly preferred
  • Software implementation experience or consulting experience is a plus
  • Be able to work multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
