Within Capital Group, North American Distribution (NAD) oversees sales and distribution for North America across various client groups including: individual investors, retirement plans and institutional clients.  Their efforts are focused on positioning Capital Group as the active investment manager of choice, providing superior service, sales and marketing experience while broadening our business.

The Senior Sales Training Specialist plays a key role in the vision of Capital Group’s North American Distribution, which is to become an indispensable partner to our clients by effectively connecting their top priorities with the greatest market opportunities.  The Senior Sales Training Specialist is responsible for the development of sales associates resulting in improved performance.  We are seeking an experienced sales trainer who is also skilled in developing effective sales and sales management programs and in using the requisite technology to develop and deliver programs in a live or virtual setting. 

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate sales training programs for internal and external sales associates in a classroom or virtual/web-based setting
• Facilitate Sales Manager training and coaching skills programs
• Analyze and identify needs of various sales roles and develop innovative and creative training solutions
• Create and deliver customized learning modules to meet long and short term needs of various sales roles for use in the classroom or virtually.
• Expertise in using the tools,  resources and technologies important to sales
• Strengthen relationships with sales, management and SMEs and leverage their expertise to identify and develop sales training programs
• Maintain strong level of sales acumen, sales training knowledge and sales management and coaching skills

A successful candidate will have:
• 3-5 years training experience with a focus on sales training, preferably in the financial industry.

• Securities Industry Essential (SIE) Series 6 required and preferably Series 63 and 65.
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills
• Track record of innovative sales training solutions
• Strong experience in delivering live, virtual and blended learning
• High comfort level with learning technology, including mobile devices
• In-depth knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience working with e-learning development software (i.e.,  Captivate, Articulate Storyline)
• Strong interpersonal skills capable of developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with a diverse group of associates at all levels within the organization.
