The Challenge:
We have an opportunity for you to use your leadership and analytical skills to improve military health systems (MHS). Youll work closely with your customer to understand their questions and needs, then dig into their data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Youll mentor teammates, develop clinically-driven descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive data models, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help senior executive health care management officials make informed decisions. Youll provide your customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can use it. Join us as we use data science for good in MHS.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with public health, epidemiology, or population health organizations
• 3+ years of experience with healthcare quality improvement or customer service and claims
• Experience with developing and deploying clinical, educational, or economic performance measures and metrics in a population health setting
• 3+ years of experience with data retrieval, cleaning, analysis, and reporting using Excel, Access, SAS, R and RStudio, Python, Tableau, Qlik, or SQL
• 3+ years of experience developing analytical plans, conducting statistical analyses, and writing reports
• 1+ years of experience with TRICARE or other clinical data from the military health system (MHS)
• -Ability to work a designated shift or be on call on
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• AA or AS degree in Health, Biostatistics, English, CS, or Mathematics or 4+ years of experience with public or population health, healthcare finance analysis or informatics in a military setting in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in a military medical role as active duty or a civil service employee
• Experience with MHS, personnel data, financial execution data, medical workload data, customer satisfaction survey results data, or clinical outcomes data reporting
• Knowledge of MHS
• Secret clearance
