Title –Technology Engagement Manager
Role Overview
•The Technology Engagement Manager is responsible for the successful application of strategic third-party digital solutions to new deals or existing engagements. The role will put in place the proper framework for the flawless integration and use of the digital components into the delivery ecosystem through various dimensions including contract terms and value realisation while protecting BSv.
•Core Activities:
oOperates across a portfolio of engagements to ensure successful transition to proposed digital solutions
oSupport the bid teams while putting together the offer
oDrives digital transformation of engagements (supporting TIO where present)
oValidates or develops business cases for change and appropriate commercial models and terms
oEnsures proper Change control mechanism is embedded in commercial agreement
oEnsures delivery of solutioned functionality on time, and at or below budgeted cost, with minimal disruption
oDrives technology led competitiveness and value realisation project portfolio for engagements
oEnsures technical balance through due consideration of cost vs value
oRoot cause analysis to ensure problem solving rather than symptom patching
oManages exceptions / gaps in technology portfolio, applying BSv governance procedures
oEnsures compliance with DGEM:Tech technology portfolio
oRaises demand requests to enhance DGEM:Tech
•Stakeholder Management:
oIs the technology face-off to clients during engagement digital transformation activities (transition, transformation and run) and manages client technology stakeholders during engagement delivery
oAdopts and delivers solution design / implementation plans created by Digital Architect
