The Recent Graduate Project Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates specialty area knowledge with an understanding of industry standards and practices. Developing understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developing communication and diplomacy skills needed to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities.

  • Conducts analysis and evaluation of project data to identify solutions to moderate to complex project management problems.
  • Assists in gathering project data needed to complete project plans, helps track project issues and resolutions create and document the project work.
  • Identifies, tracks, and closes project issues, creates project schedule management plan
  • Tracks actual project costs, identify variances, and reforecast project costs as needed
  • Manipulates data for quantitative analysis or research to support the business in identifying problems and solutions
  • Ensures corrective action is taken when project schedule variances occur create project cost estimates.

  • Identifies project risks, perform probability and impact analysis, determine responses to risks, track risks, and execute responses as needed.
  • Exhibits strong basic executional and increasing project ownership capabilities.
  • Coordinates all operational readiness needs: Process Changes, Capacity, Training and Communications
  • Ensures a successful implementation by working with developers, testers and customers and providing direction in resolving problems or issues
  • Includes administrative work. This includes but is not limited to capacity plan reporting, Executive Summary creation, issue documentation, frequent reporting to management of various levels through formal and informal processes and fulfillment of ad hoc requests. This can be up to 25% of the job responsibilities.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

  • 2+ years of relevant experience or academic related background in Business courses

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

Additional Qualifications:

Strong written & verbal communication and presentation skills.

Must have a basic understanding of project management and methodologies

Ability to work multiple projects.

Ability to work in a virtual environment via email, IM, and phone across departments and sites.

Thorough knowledge of basic desktop applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).


Candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor's/University degree may be considered
