As a leading insurance and financial services company focused on meeting the evolving need of public K-12 teachers, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Claims Manager NI in our Claims offices in Irving office.


Verify coverage, investigate liability and/or scope of damage

Evaluates the claim to determine claim value, negotiate settlement and moves to settle claims while adhering to company best claim practices.

Obtain and maintain state mandated adjuster licenses

Proficiency with/and ability to understand and follow regulations for State jurisdictions.

Ability to operate in a fast paced customer focused environment, while effectively utilizing telephony and claims operating systems

Strong organization and time management skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong customer service focus


  • Minimum 5 years with varied experience working large losses, total fires, water losses
  • Investigates any/all claims, complex files: fire, water, CAT and other dwelling losses
  • Investigates dwelling, UPP, theft events.
  • Investigates fire/theft cases and works closely with SIU
  • Needs to be technology proficient/strong typing skills
  • Experience in Xactimate and XactAnalysis
  • Acts as mentor within unit
  • Ability to maintain required levels of performance
  • Knowledge of general construction, repair methods, mitigation practices, and industry products
  • Able to handle PA/ Attorney represented claims with manager oversight
  • Typically 2-5 years of claims experience or job equivalent experience
  • Recoveries for subrogation and salvage are focal paints
  • Maintains State required Adjuster licenses
  • Utilize and have experience with Quality Assurance
  • History of meeting and exceeding core objective goals


  • Preferred:
    • College degree in related field, or;
    • Equivalent experience -- typically 5 - 8 years of claims processing
