Senior Associate, Business Management
Role: Senior Associate, Business Management for S&P Global Platts

Grade: 11 (relevant for internal applicants only)

Location: New York, Houston, or London

The Senior Associate, Business Management, works with the Head of Business Management / Chief of Staff for S&P Global Platts to drive business processes and reporting, deliver strategic presentations, and manage the day-to-day operations of the office of the President. She/he will work closely with senior leaders across the division to support the execution of strategic objectives and guide data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops a strong understanding of Platts' strategic objectives and operations
  • Prepares and organizes content for internal and external senior engagements, including speeches, briefings, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel analyses
  • Leads data collection, analysis and reporting function to support business management processes
  • Maintains calendar for the office of the President and develops agenda for meetings of the Platts Operating Committee
  • Oversees and tracks the success of strategic projects from development through execution in partnership with senior leaders across the division
  • Participates in special projects as required
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Strong understanding of energy and commodity markets and the trends shaping the industry, and knowledge of Platts' products and services
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of reporting and business intelligence tools
  • Presence to represent the office of the President of S&P Global Platts and build trusting relationships with senior leaders across the company
  • Self-starter with ability to execute well with minimal direction
  • Proven ability to navigate effectively and efficiently within a large matrixed organization
  • Very high standards of quality, accuracy and timeliness
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $67,600 to $140,400. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
