: You will create content including in-depth analysis/features, breaking news and digital media such as blogs, podcasts and videos focused on the Energy Transition, with particular focus on hydrogen, voluntary carbon markets and low-carbon natural gas and oil (Scope One focus on production, certification and pricing). You will work with news colleagues, the pricing team and analytics to develop original, insightful content focused on these key topics. The Impact:

: This is an opportunity to play an important part in Platts' coordinated Energy Transition product offering. You will have the opportunity to cover regional industry events, help on graphical content, work in cross-divisional teams, and collaborate with global news and market reporters. The Team
: The global energy news team works closely together in what can be a fast-paced environment. You'll report to a global Energy Transition news head but work closely with other editors, the regional head of news along with other news and market reporters/editors. Your Skills
: Relevant Energy Transition reporting experience. Strong English language editing, writing and reporting skills. Data analysis capabilities. Highly motivated, productive team player able to pivot quickly in response to a fast-evolving daily slate of stories. Spanish a plus. Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $46,200 to $129,200. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.

•Develop Energy Transition Content
As a writer and editor, you will ensure that content you file is timely, unique and relevant. You will be responsible for creating content and presenting it in a way that has maximum impact. You will monitor news flow from competitors, prioritize daily content and help conduct forward planning of event and story coverage.
• Content Presentation
You will be required to think innovatively on how best to present the content to make it impactful and reader friendly. This could involve the use of infographics, maps, charts, tables etc.
• Content Generation
You will be required to collaborate with regional colleagues, market reporters and other members of the energy news team to generate and drive content. This could be in the form of further analysis of developing news and/or writing features.
• Market engagement
You would be expected to develop and maintain productive relationships with a broad base of key industry sources.
