You could be a part of our Product Control team supporting the Commodities and Global Markets Group in our dynamic Houston office as a Product Control Analyst.
The Product Control Group, within the Finance department, is responsible for understanding, substantiating and controlling the revenue recognition of the trading business with a specific focus on the balance sheet and income statement. The Product Control group does this through daily review of P&L attribution, reserves, and adjustments and periodic review of front to back reconciliations and new trade reviews. In conjunction with new trade/desk level risk oversight, Product Control ensures a firm understanding of the drivers of P&L in order to produce accurate daily and period to date reporting & analysis.
As a Product Control Analyst, you will support our global Commodities Markets & Finance group with a focus on Energy markets. The Commodities and Global Markets group provides clients with risk and capital solutions across physical and financial markets. Some examples of traded energy products include natural gas, power, crude oil, coal, refined products and carbon emissions. In addition, the division is active across all physical energy products: natural gas, power, liquified natural gas, oil, natural gas liquids and coal. Our Commodities and Global Markets Group also provides storage and transportation services, and commodities-based financing.
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining strong internal relationships with the Front Office, Market Risk, Financial Control and our Global Financial Services group.
