Senior Financial Analyst

Summary of Responsibilities:
The Financial Analyst II shall be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing information based business solutions related to reporting and ad hoc analysis. The position will provide information to the business units based on the requirements set by the business using the technology that best fits the solution, as well as gathering and documenting requirements and developing solutions.

Essential Job Functions:
- Develop a strong understanding of the company-s products and capabilities, operations and financial performance
- Develop and maintain a strong ability to translate corporate strategy and operations to financial models
- Develop a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts and their application including valuation
- Prepare and analyze various components of the monthly forecast and annual budget
- Develop reporting solutions through multiple tools as needed. Ability to produce interactive graphs, pivot tables etc. for report requirements.
- Ad-hoc report development and analysis that provide a logically reasoned and data-supported approach for senior executive team
- Provide user support and training on information application solutions.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and modify reports as business needs change and when problems arise.
- Partner with other departments and management at all levels and maintains effective working relationships with each
- Document all reporting requirements, applications and reports as they are released.
- Generate month-end numbers for Senior Management and Parent Companies in multiple formats including GAAP and IFRS
- Generate forecasting models to be used by various business units reflecting US GAAP and IFRS results.

Other Functions:
- Special projects as requested by management.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Bachelor-s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Minimum three (2-3) years experience in finance or business analysis role
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word & Powerpoint (intermediate user)
- Understanding of Financial Services products and policies, especially loan origination or collections strategies, a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Working Conditions:
- Extended working hours may be required as dictated by management and business needs.
- Travel to multiple facilities may be required.
- May be required to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.
- May be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time.
- May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard.
- Corporate / satellite office role.
