KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Big Data Platforms to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various cross functional teams such as infrastructure, data and enterprise architects to tune, integrate and optimize the platform to meet functional and technical requirements
  • Monitor and ensure enforcement of the security and policies, as well as quality and performance
  • Code/decode advanced algorithms and troubleshoot to build high-performance, parallel and distributed solutions
  • Ensure the design, code, and procedural aspects of solutions are production ready, in terms of operational, security and compliance standards; Execute upon roadmaps that improve efficiencies, agility, performance and stability of big data platforms
  • Continually optimize the data pipe with automation and tools with the latest DevOps and Agile methodologies to improve cycle times, consistency, and quality
  • Participate in day to day project and production delivery status meetings, and provide technical support for faster resolution of issues

Qualifications:

  • Minimuim three years of experience with data integration and analytics experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or relevant work experience
  • Deep hands on experience with: Hadoop, HIVE, HBase, Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, Python, R, SQL, Java, Scala, Zeppelin, RStudio, Spark RDDs and Data Frames, machine learning algorithms, Ambari, Ranger, Kerberos, Atlas and Collibra
  • Prior Development and operations experience with ElasticSearch and Kibana
  • Informatica MDM, DQ, ETL architecture experience is a plus
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
