Operations Specialist
Operations Support Specialist IV

About the Role:

We are looking for a versatile Operations Support Specialist IV to support the Records Management Unit of the Dallas Banking Supervision department by applying a knowledgeable understanding of maintaining the life cycle of records. This knowledge will include reviewing documents for content and applying System-wide metadata best practices needed to categorize and process documents and data. The Operations Support Specialist IV will work in partnership with other team members and Bank employees to implement solutions that support efficient and effective records management operations.

You Will:

  • Store Supervision & Regulation documents and data in Board approved repositories based on document storage location guidance; and distribute electronically to the appropriate recipients
  • Interpret and perform System-wide records management projects received from the Board of Governors and related authorities based on evolving best practices and industry trends
  • Manage and perform required quality control procedures on unit processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with Mergers and Acquisitions to process Freedom of Information Act requests received from the public based on Office of the Secretary (OSEC) regulatory guidance
  • Digitize and destroy Supervisory documents and data is based on Board approved unit policies and procedures
  • Provide training and oversight to less experienced team members

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in library science or other business related field of study
  • Minimum of three years of experience operating a document management system
  • Professional certifications in Information Management
  • Experience in the utilization of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Demonstrated teamwork, communication, analysis, and problem solving abilities
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements
