About the Role
The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a self-motivated, versatile Cash Operations Associate I with cash handling experience in receiving, processing, storage, and destroying U.S. currency in a mission critical environment. You will be based in Dallas, TX.
Partner with two to three Cash employees on a daily basis
Collaborate with Management, Supervisors, and Specialist
Develop strong competencies in basic cash handling and accounting skills, including balancing to expected totals.
Demonstrate strong adherence to the Custody Control principles and operating procedures
Build and maintain the highest quality products and services that meet the needs and requirements of internal and external customers
Analyze Department Standard Procedures and Custody Controls, including the necessary functions on the automated cash system
You Will Bring
Strong work ethic
Demonstrate abilities utilizing pushing pulling containers on wheels weighing 1000+ lbs
Experience with standing all day, repetitively lifting 30-35 lbs
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Experience with cash/valuables handling under minimal supervision
Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements
You will be a member of an eleven person team, but work closely with 1-3 other teammates daily on a rotational basis. All team members are based in the Dallas office.
