POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead Business Operations Analyst is responsible for managing projects and personnel in the admin analytics area of the Communications and Outreach department to help further our mission of advancing economic understanding, growth, and stability. This person oversees and provides guidance on technology and business processes for the department including the Banks Customer Relationship Management database/Salesforce and dashboard projects.  The successful candidate will assist with unit budget development; monitor and work within final budgets provided by department budget team and senior leadership. Analytical assignments vary in scope and may include preparing reports, budget monitoring and analysis.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads the entire Salesforce platform to maintain a healthy Salesforce environment and implement system changes to aid in program setup and delivery
  • Handles Salesforce system administration including custom objects, validation rules, workflows, reporting, dashboards, etc. Liaisons with internal colleagues on both technical and non-technical aspects of the role

  • Manipulates large sets of data with particular attention to accuracy

  • Trains new users how to utilize the platform to its full potential

  • Directs activity of Admin Analytics team, the CRM, and dashboard projects

  • Leads or coordinates project planning, monitoring, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, troubleshooting and people management

  • Applies knowledge of team products, services and customers to efficiently and effectively document existing workflows and create new processes

  • Oversees the departments interface to bank-wide compliance groups, such as Information Security and Business Continuity

  • Ensures compliance to standards and champions data security and business continuity initiatives

  • Examines and analyzes highly technical or specialized information to arrive at solutions or recommendation

  • Leads the effort to resolve issues/problems of moderate to complex scope in which analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors; interprets and evaluates information to develop approaches/solutions to difficult problems, both technical and managerial in nature

  • Conducts data analysis and may create complex dashboards and metric reports

  • Coordinates the departments reporting to Corporate Planning, compiling departmental accomplishments, measuring them against strategic planning initiatives, and submitting in proper format

  • Serves as the departments senior contact for the Records Information Management (RIM) program; implements RIM policy, procedures and initiatives while promoting RIM program awareness

  • Prepares operations analyses including analysis of  competitors, operational effectiveness, and capacity utilization and makes recommendations for improvement

  • Develops process analyses, designs and simulations

  • Provides statistical information to ensure the most effective utilization of personnel, equipment and materials

  • Performs analyses of the operation's cost elements to ensure effective and efficient operations

  • May track, maintain and provide current information on the operation's business scorecard

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrates advanced Skills with Microsoft software suite (including Visio and SharePoint, as well as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources

  • Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries

  • Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions, and knowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, SAS)

  • Proficient problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities. Solid experience in data reporting

  • Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills; strong attention to detail

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management, Project Management or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of related work experience; in-depth knowledge and experience of CRM/Saleforce required

  • Background in MIS and project management is preferred

  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements

 WORK HOURS AND CONDITIONS:

  • Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; 5% travel may be required

 NOTES:

  • This position will be located in the Dallas office.
  • The successful candidate for this position will be required to pass a credit check and criminal background check.
