The Treasury & Digital Solutions (T&DS) Team defines the productand delivery strategy for Commercial Bank (CB) products globally.

Reporting to the Head of T&DS, the Head of Credit Product is a newlyestablished function that will be responsible for ensuring Commercial Bankinghas a market-leading credit product set and best-in-class capabilities forglobal client delivery. This individual will own a diverse product management agenda and serve as the product representativeand advocate within the CB. The central purpose of this role is to ensure thatall elements of the CB's lending offering are transparent, optimized, andexecuted seamlessly under a unified strategy.

Aspects of the position include:
  • Product Strategy, Participation Choices, and Offering Design
    • Responsible for developing a unified product strategy, includingunderstanding future opportunities and external landscape
    • Ensure offering is designed and delivered both efficiently and according toclient needs
  • Analytics
    • Establish analytics to manage performance, drive insights, and flag issues
  • Operational Excellence
    • Own and drive the productimprovement agenda
    • Create visibility acrossproduct, processes, and capabilities
    • Create a lending "play book"and supporting guardrails
  • End-to-End Client Solution Delivery
    • Partner with the Head of T&DSto ensure a cohesive product and go-to-market strategy across the entireportfolio of solutions
    • Partner closely with other functional team leaders to ensure a consistentapproach to product management discipline
Specificresponsibilities are as follows:
  • Developand maintain a clear view of the CB's lending strategy, offerings, and portfolio- including products, profitability, clients served, and front-to-back aspectsof delivery and administration - with a goal of centralizing a plan and approachfor full transparency
  • Evaluate,maintain, and communicate about external trends and the competitive landscapein the lending space; this would include insights on competition, businessmodels, technology disruption, and regulation
  • Understandand assess the quality of current end-to-end processes, key performanceindicators, and reporting in an effort to ensure sales incentives are alignedand profitability is optimized
  • Developa unified product strategy for the lending product suite and synthesize a viewof current capabilities, market opportunities, client needs, and other relevantfactors
  • Identifygaps to the current offering and operating model, recommend improvements tosatisfy client needs and enhance experience, maximize internal efficiencies,and enable robust risk management
  • Establishand manage program to oversee, monitor, and manage stakeholders for agreed uponimprovement opportunities; partner with cross-functional teams to develop andprioritize lending product initiatives and investment roadmap
  • Continuously refine and simplify the productset, including functionality, pricing, and delivery model
  • Extendthe existing functional focus on the T&DS team to include credit products,such as "ready to launch," investment governance, revenue management, andproduct collateral

  • BA/BS; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in financialservices
  • Experience in Product Management, Strategy, Technologyor Management Consulting with a focus in Treasury, FinTech, or Credit
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with multiplecross-functional teams including Product, Operations/Service, Sales, andMarketing
  • Ability to build effective working relationshipsand influence all levels across an organization while leading a wide portfolioof projects
  • Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managingmultiple, concurrent initiatives with different delivery dates
  • Demonstrated communication and diplomacy skills towork cross-organizationally to influence others, drive results/change, andimplement projects/processes
  • Strong project management skills; well-organized,structured approach; ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables
  • Combination of strong analytical skills andcreative problem solving - able to turn analysis into actionable insights andplans
  • Strategic thinking coupled with practical execution
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written, andinterpersonal skills and experience communicating with all levels of theorganization (including senior management)
