We are looking for a talented and highly-motivated Technology Risk Intern to join the Banking Supervision Department for the 2020 2021 academic year. The candidate will gain valuable experience supporting Supervisory Risk and Surveillance programs and contribute to IT assessments and examinations of financial institutions (FIs) and service providers (SPs).
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:

You will begin in early September and will be based in the Dallas office.YOU WILL :
Conduct research and prepare reports on bank technology, digital payments, and cybersecurity emerging risks.
Assist in conducting IT, payments, and cybersecurity examinations of banks and/or service providers.
Review bank or service provider examination reports.
Participate in supervisory and risk meetings and related organizational functions.
Work with department management on special projects and other time-sensitive assignments.
Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively work in groups
Good working knowledge of technology concepts and risk
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
Exposure to audit, banking, or cybersecurity industry is preferable but not required
Programming skills are preferable but not required
Student must be pursuing an undergraduate (entering junior or senior level) or graduate degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field with a GPA of 3.0 or better
Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements
You will work with diverse and dynamic team making important contributions to protect the nations financial system.

This is a part-time internship for the 2020 - 2021 academic year located in the Dallas office. Interns will be expected to work approximately 15 to 20 hours per week with flexibility to accommodate class schedule. Interns will be responsible for any relocation and housing expenses.
Employment is contingent upon the selected candidate passing a background check and drug screen.
Candidates will be required to submit at least three references and submit fingerprints prior to employment.
