The Loan Management team is a business unit within the Global Markets division, primarily supporting the Mortgage Loan Trading and Investment Banking groups.  The team is a multi-faceted diligence and asset management platform specializing in whole loan acquisition, sales, securitizations, and financing opportunities. The Loan Management team has product expertise across mortgages, consumer loans, real estate and warehouse financing.


  • Support Asset Managers on existing commercial real estate financing facilities
  • Interact with the Mortgages and Investment Banking team on transactions to produce analytics, performance reporting, exhibits for governing documents, accurate loan level data, and collection/validation of diligence items
  • Ensure data integrity through a proactive data management strategy while coordinating with Asset Managers, Mortgage Strategies, Technology, and Cash Operations teams.
  • Automate and improve processes with use of technical/analytical best practices
  • Build data visualization reporting for key stakeholders
  • Validate Goldman  Sachs  accounting  system results verses  internal  profit/loss expectations
  • Support business plan preparation, ad hoc modeling, reviewing monthly cash flows and performance, analyzing leasing strategy, collecting financials and reviewing budgets
  • Assist in preparing periodic reporting for internal and external clients
  • Work with third parties to collect/analyze collateral information
  • Research/evaluate market, rental rate and occupancy trends to incorporate into investment assumptions within models (in advanced Excel/Argus)
  • Conduct in-depth market and portfolio analysis; including the impact of  industry trends to the portfolio


  • Strong academic background degree in finance, accounting, computer science, mathematics, data science or similar field
  • Candidates should have a minimum 1 year work experience
  • Experience/Training in quantitative modeling, data analytics/science, database management preferred
  • Commercial Real Estate experience with asset management or transaction management in various CRE asset types a plus
  • Analytical / logical mindset, problem solving and critical thinking skills, and high attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (clear, concise, and confident) with the ability to manage internal and external relationships
  • Must have MS Office Excel experience to an advanced level
  • Technical Skills including MS Access, SQL, VBA, SSRS, Tableau preferred
  • Use or understanding of Argus Enterprise and MS PowerPoint a plus
  • Six Sigma knowledge/certification a plus
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team setting
  • Self-motivated
