ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:

We offer paid, full-time summer internships for many majors, with fulfilling work and opportunities to grow. To help launch your career, we provide dedicated staff mentors. Youll also learn from senior leaders and industry experts. As part of the Federal Reserve System, youll be connected to a professional network that spans the nation. You will begin in early June and will be based in the Dallas office.

ABOUT YOUR TEAM:

This team is part of the National IT End User Services organization and is responsible for PC Endpoint services. The team provides PC hardware and operating systems support to the Federal Reserve System. This includes the introduction of new PC models and accessories, operating system updates, patching, and hardware imaging.

WHAT YOULL DO:

• Assist the team with creating, maintaining, and supporting Windows operating system images and build processes
• Assist with researching production issues related to operating system and imaging using operating system deployment software such as Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Operating System Deployment (OSD)
• Assist with projects in developing automated build processes
• Perform benchmark testing of hardware platforms
• Provide administrative, logistical and analytical support to System technology workgroups and project teams

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Preferred majors (Associate/Bachelor) in Computer Information Technology, Computer Science, information Systems, or related field of study
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Windows 10 operating system
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of PowerShell a plus
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually
• Analytical and systematic approach to problem solving
• Communicates effectively, formally and informally, with colleagues

WORK HOURS:

Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (40 hours/ week). Some additional hours may be required
 
NOTES:
