Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, TX.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, TX. Vice President within Investing and Lending engineering. Responsible for end-to-end design, development and support of the firm’s loan servicing platform. Assume responsibility for the full software development lifecycle (SDLC): work with end-users to define business requirements, design the technical solution, and assume responsibility for coding, implementation of software, testing and production release. Work with business users to define feature enhancements, set priorities and allocate resource for their solution. Develop technical specifications, high level/detailed design, test and implementation plans from business requirements. Work in close proximity with end-users to provide day-to-day support of the software platform. Work with business managers to create financial reports based on the data stored in the servicing platform. Build systems and tools to improve internal development practices such as SDLC build process, federated logging, software scalability and uptime. Be a part of a support rota providing tier 1, 2, and 3 support for end-users and provide end-user assistance.

Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science,. Computer Engineering, or a related field and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have five (5) years of experience with: Object-Oriented Application Development (such as Java or another OO language) and design patterns; Persistance Technologies, such as DB2, Sybase, Oracle, and MongoDB; multi-threaded applications responsible for high data throughput; and open source technologies, including Spring Core, Spring Batch, GIT and SVN. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Software Development Life Cycle management, including interacting with end-users for analysis and design, coding, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), maintenance, and supporting end users; working on a global software development team and communicating status/design effectively across multiple regions; enhancing/maintaining legacy applications consisting of multiple interconnected components, complex user interface and supporting complex, multistep business workflow and in use by multiple users; and working concurrently on multiple projects, managing business priorities and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Must have one (1) year of experience with: business critical applications required for day-to-day business operations; Agile project management methodology; managing direct reports, including setting task priorities, reviewing deliverables and providing feedback; and developing UI components utilizing WEB technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular or React frameworks. This includes creating multiple data entry screens, search functionality and workflow management UI.
