PGIM Private Capital Energy Finance - Analyst, Power (Dallas)

Prudential Private Capitals Energy Finance Team is seeking an Analyst in its Power & Renewables group located in Dallas. 

As a Power & Renewables Investment Analyst, you would work on a small deal team responsible for underwriting, portfolio monitoring and marketing, where each member makes an integral contribution to the business. Working on a small dedicated team, Analyst responsibilities include industry analysis, financial modeling, comparable analysis, preparing discussion materials, portfolio monitoring (including direct interaction with senior management), marketing support and special projects.  It is noteworthy that we offer a positive work-life balance, while still providing our analysts with valuable learning and growth opportunities.

We are one of the premier institutional investors in the renewable energy space, with a portfolio totaling $4.0 billion of investments across wind, solar, hydroelectric and geothermal projects and a total power portfolio of $9.3 billion (as of 9/30/19). We invest across the capital structure, including senior debt (construction and term), back-leverage, mezzanine debt and structured equity. Many of our analysts move on to attend top business schools and have received a variety of opportunities within the industry at the close of the three-year Investment Analyst program.

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, with a strong record of academic achievement
  • Excellent analytical and accounting skills
  • Understanding of capital markets (knowledge of debt and equity security terms and valuation methodologies)
  • Strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills
