Aycos National Tax Group is growing and we are searching for the most qualified and client-oriented professionals to join our dynamic, multi-faceted and quality-minded division of tax professionals who, working with Ayco Financial Advisors, provide tax services to the firms Private Wealth Management clients.
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
The Client Tax Advisor will work with the tax team in servicing Ayco clients with a focus on Personal, Fiduciary, S-Corporation, Partnership, Private Foundation, and Gift tax returns. This person will coordinate with Ayco Financial Counseling teams to bring added value to existing clients through tax consultation and identifying/implementing services solutions.

Prepare/review personal income tax returns (federal, state and local.)
Preparation/review of ancillary tax returns as required.
Review tax strategies, such as timing of deductions and charitable planning techniques (donor-advises funds.)
Analyze stock vesting implications, including withholding elections and basis tracking.
Evaluate non-resident state filing requirements.
Identify tax planning opportunities.
Implement appropriate tax preparation solutions.
Assist in gathering and organizing tax data and coordinate with tax preparer on return preparation.
Tax forecasting incorporating compensation, household income, deductions and legislative changes.
Assist with withholding adjustments and making quarterly estimated tax payments.
Coordinate charitable and estate endeavors with tax planning.
Review capital gain/loss planning opportunities.
Bachelors degree in accounting required; advanced degree, CPA or EA designation preferred.
5 to 8 years of related experience, public or private tax/accounting.
Experience providing client-centric consulting to high net worth individuals and closely held entities.
High degree of client service to both internal and external customers.
Creative problem solving, research skills
Able to manage conflicting priorities, deadline-based tasks and simultaneous projects.
Familiarity with tax software programs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Clear communicator with strong interpersonal writing/verbal skills.
Detail oriented, excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Self-starter, highly motivated to personal growth and development.
Ability to work in a team while maintaining a high level of responsibility and accountability to individual projects and tasks.
