The Consumer and Investment Management Division includes Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), Private Wealth Management (PWM) and our Consumer business (Marcus by Goldman Sachs). We provide asset management, wealth management and banking expertise to consumers and institutions around the world. CIMD partners with various teams across the firm to help individuals and institutions navigate changing markets and take control of their financial lives.

  • Own the execution and management of our Legal Recovery strategy playing a key role in our risk functions
  • Oversee and manage a network of law firms to ensure providing risk oversight, required third party management monitoring and ensuring vendor compliance with all Marcus requirements
  • Drive KPIs, recovery rates and quality goals with Legal Recoveries
  • Build, train and lead a team that executes sworn documents and witness testimony processes for the firm
  • Own building and enhancing policy and procedure to ensure a well-managed, compliant process
  • Work closely with business partners, Legal, Compliance and Delivery to manage and execute the legal process
  • Drive strategic objectives from key internal constituents
  • Design key performance indicators and monitors to ensure Legal Recovery is performing as expected
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of experience managing legal recovery to include legal vendor management
  • 3+ years of experience managing sworn documents and witness testimony processes to include team members
  • 5+ years of experience owning and executing KPIs of a Legal Recoveries organization
  • Ability to create legal recovery procedures
  • Expert regulatory and compliance knowledge of the Legal Recovery space
    Strong project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a start-up business or a new business line within a larger organization is preferred
