KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Resource Management to join our Advisory Resource Management organization.


  • Function as a strategic advisor and leadership team member for Service Line/Network by proactively providing input to determine operational direction of a Service Line
  • Perform complex analyses of developing trends in the marketplace and assess the impact on a Service Line/Network; Participate in the identification of best practices and drives consistency of processes for Resource Management (RM) activities across a Service Line
  • Support and understand holistic view of staffing engagements to find the best resources (onshore, near shore, offshore and contract labor)
  • Effectively coach, mentor and act as a role model for the Resource Management team to improve team dynamics, effectiveness and overall perception of the Resource Management function
  • Drive and implement Resource Management best practices and process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in the KPMG resource management tool (Retain), and fully utilize all aspects of Retain, Retain Dashboards and Hana reporting


  • Minimum of ten years of experience in similar role or within a client service delivery function
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and/or university
  • Excellent communication and supervisory skills, including tact, diplomacy and negotiation skills
  • Strong critical thinking, ability to analyze data and summarize, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid conflict resolution skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence others
  • Functional experience with MS Office Suite; Excel (advanced user), Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
