Technical Trainer
Sr. Technical Trainer Job Description


  • Lead training sessions focused on Thomson Reuters Indirect Tax products.
  • Conduct training sessions onsite at customer locations, in virtual classrooms, and in a workshop format.
  • Work with training content team to continuously improve the content of the training materials to coincide with system enhancements.
  • Maintain and administer surveys and other information in order to meet requirements.
  • Book and allocate back all required travel arrangements.
  • Communicate internally to ensure billings are accurate and timely.


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to work independently
  • Technical training experience preferred (1-2 years)
  • ONESOURCE Indirect Tax product knowledge preferred
  • Able to work on both sides of training: curriculum design/development and training delivery
  • Ability to conduct face to face and remote classes
  • Ability to develop/support the development of different types of training materials: instructor-led courses (classroom and remote), certification exams, eLearning and videos for self-study
  • Customer-focused and interested in being part of a revenue-generating department
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
