ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Scrum Master will define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery Oversee scrum team for key high-priority projects for the client program Prepare and distribute progress reports Manage risks and issues Correct deviations from plans Perform delivery planning for assigned projects Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work Leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work Mentor and developing team members. Support managing customer expectations for project deliverables Managing stakeholder communications Help to implement an effective system of project governance. Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
Experience and knowledge of Healthcare, Vista Revenue Cycle and the Department of Veterans Affairs Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) 10 years and Masters degree in engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required Understanding of software development life cycle models and Agile/Scrum project management principles and practices. Tracking costs, schedule and performance progress. Able to identify and mitigate risks. Excellent communication skills in working with key stakeholders/customers to support planning and delivery of technical IT development Agile projects. Successful in leading software development projects using Agile methodologies with multi-function teams
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees. U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required. Travel may be required. Ability to work overtime required on occasion. Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally. Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements. Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
